Really. Regardless of who you are or what you believe. Nobody is too rich or too poor, too good or too bad, too dark or too light, too–anything.  God loves all types.

Lafayette Ave Presbyterian Church to reflects the diversity of the Elmwood Village, and then some.   See for yourself on Sunday morning at 10am (an informal, but mostly traditional gathering) or at 6pm (free dinner, alternative music.)

We’re not a scary church.  We’re just a group of people that tries to practice the way that Jesus lived. None of us have gotten it perfect yet, which is why we keep practicing.

We hope you’ll join us as we practice. We won’t pressure you to pick up snakes. We won’t guilt you out of your money. We won’t make you do anything you don’t want to, because we don’t think that is the kind of thing Jesus would do.

It’s a risk, trying a new church, but we believe that a person can know God here, and that knowing God is worth the risk.

We’re lovers of Jesus, wrestlers of scripture, and servants of our neighborhood.   We hope you will check us out and maybe get to know us.
