Those “young people”
You know, the ones that fill our neighborhood? Anyone over 5 and younger than me (who is officially a “generation x” guy) is part of the “millennial” generation. They arethe largest generation in American history (sorry Boomers) and the most diverse. This post talks about who exactly they are, and how the PC(USA) might (or might not) serve them.
Do you think they are that different? Do you think we (as a congregation) can serve them? Is it possible for us to be less “top down,” more open, and still be Presbyterian? Can we be “uniters,” leaving old questions behind, while still honoring older generations?
