Poverty Challenge: Day 3

May 7th, 2008 by drew | 0

Still no car, no phone, no internet.

Breakfast was pancakes ($2)

Lunch will be half a bag of salad and ramen ($1)

Coffee and some donut holes left from last night were a snack ($1.50).

Dinner is made from canned chick peas, canned tomatoes, and spaghetti.  ($1.50)

That’s $6, total–which means if I do anything tonight, I will have to spend $.56 or less.

Of course, Devan’s post on the homeless alliance blog made me realize that I forgot all about hygiene stuff.  Anybody who knows me knows that I am no pretty boy, but between soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, my fancy electric toothbrush, shaving cream and a razor, I go in debt for both days.  So I guess I won’t spend that last .$56.
